Of Hyle The Universal Prima Materia

Heinrich Khunrath (1560-1605) was a key alchemical writer at the turn of the 16th into the 17th centuries. His best known work was the ‘Amphitheatre of Eternal Wisdom’ of 1609. He wrote about alchemical ideas within a Christian mystical approach.This work on Hyle, also referred to as his Confession, is an in-depth exploration of the Prima Materia, the substance from which all matter is composed.
